Stampin' Up! is donating $2 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for every Strength & Hope stamp set sold until August 31st. The butterfly is gorgeous stamped and heat embossed with Melon Mambo embossing powder, and then cut out and placed over another butterfly stamped in Sahara Sand. The butterfly looks like it is about to take flight.
The technique I used is emboss resist. I heat embossed the Very Vanilla card stock with White Embossing Powder and then sponged Sahara Sand ink over the embossed image. The ink doesn't color the embossed sections, so the impression stands out. Be sure to wipe the embossing with a tissue to remove any wet ink remaining.
