Vintage Lace Valentine

The soft colors of this vintage valentine look so pretty together.  The paper doily adds just the right romantic touch to my handmade valentine.

The inspiration for my card came from the Occasions Mini Catalog.  The new set used here is Hearts A Flutter and it's coordinating framelits dies.  Too cute!  (Another card coming soon using more of that same set.)

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all my stamping friends and anyone who enjoys creativity.  Here's to a new year full of new opportunities to be creative and enjoy life and friendships.

This stamp is from the assortment of single stamps offered through Stampin' Up! for a limited time; New Years (132336).  The image was stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed in gold.  I used a Basic Black card base, Brushed Gold and Whisper White card sock, and Champagne Glimmer Paper.  The stars were punched from a retired punch, and the scallop was cut using the Big Shot and the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die (120893).  A bit of 1/8" Black Taffeta Ribbon (119261) finishes it off.
