I love the vintage look. For the background, I used the new Fancy Fan Letterpress Plate inked in Blushing Bride and ran it through the Big Shot. It came through with a subtle embossing that gives it a slight texture as well as the color on color. The flower has four layers cut from the Fancy Flower Punch. Two from the Designer Series Paper (DSP) and then one flower from Blushing Bride peeled apart to make 2 flowers. This makes the paper thin and easier to crumple. Tip: Place the flower between your thumb and a bone folder and drag it along the flower from the center out, turning each time, to break down the fibers in the card stock. Then, when you see the edges coming apart, gently peel the two sides apart. Crumple each flower piece, smooth back out, and daube with Crumb Cake ink before assembling the flower.
