The Curly Label Punch coordinates with this set.  I punched out the "Happy Birthday" and attached it with a demensional.  Then cut out the miniature butterfly and gave it a wee pearl.

Valentine Treat Pocket

The new Framelits Dies Hearts Collection allows you to cut 6 heart sizes.  Here I used the largest heart which has a lovely scallop edge.  Cut 2 hearts, stick them together with some Sticky Strip along the "V", and you have a perfect pocket for a Valentine treat!

I used my handy Simply Scored Scoring Tool to get a perfectly even fold on the front of the pocket.  Sweet!

Be My Valentine

I've always liked Valentine's Day.  In grade school, I loved opening my "mail" in my Valentine bag.  As a mother, I've searched for cute little Valentine's for my own children to give, and became extremely disappointed at the ridiculous little character Valentines that fold with a little sticker to hold them closed.  What fun is that?  I like a real envelope with a real Valentine inside.  (Maybe a little treat tucked in too.) Because of this, I have been making Valentines with my kids long before I started stamping.   Now it is even easier with all the fun tools and stamps available from Stampin' Up!

This 3" x 3"Love Note card, is quite simple to make.  The red heart is stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  I did this on a 2-1/8" x 2" rectangle so that when I punched it out with the Full Heart Punch, I could position the roses before I punched.  I punched a small heart (117193) out of the scrap to decorate the inside of the card.  The bottom edge of the card is embossed with the heart strip from the Adorning Accents Textured Impressions Embossing Folders (Occasions Mini 2012), and Cupid is ready with his arrow in the background, stamped in VersaMark.

Fox & Friends Hello Baby

I actually made this cute baby whale card with a color challenge in mind - the colors being Not Quite Navy, Baja Breeze and Very Vanilla.  BUT... life got too busy and I didn't get it uploaded in time.  Oh well.  

The waves were made with the Tasteful Trim XL Die, using the "left over" piece for the scallop.

Chocolate Valentine

Mmmmm! These chocolate strawberries look good enough to eat!  This delicious stamp set can be found in the new Occasions Mini Catalog and is available now.

I inked up the strawberry stamp with Real Red and Chocolate Chip (of course!) markers and stamped it three times.  Each strawberry is cut out and adhered with a dimensional over a 1-1/4" Whisper White circle on which the stem, inked with a Garden Green marker, was stamped.  I always use a glue dot to stick on a tied bow.  Those little circles of stickiness are great for something like this.  Just press the back of the bow right over the glue dot to lift it off the wax strip, and you won't have problems trying to get it off your fingers.

Happiest Birthday - Mojo222

The Holidays are behind us, and for me, January is a time to get reorganized and reenergized.  It feels like I have a bit more time to do the things that I enjoy.  The past few days have been absolutely gorgeous, and I have taken advantage of the great weather to get outside and play some tennis, do a little gardening, and of course I also did some stamping!
