I used the the Floral Fusion Sizzlits and the Boho Blossom Punch for the flower, and the leaves are cut from the Little Leaves Sizzlits.

Betsy's Blossoms For You

This week's Mojo Monday has a fun sketch challenge to try.

I thought a trio of dancing teacups would be the perfect centerpiece for this card.

Each teacup was stamped separately (I used painter's tape to mask off the other cups) so that I got a better image than I would have using markers.  This also allows for a wider margin to center the 1-3/8" circle punch just so.

The Marina Mist strip has a torn edge and adds just a little color.  The 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon is one of my favorite ribbons.  It is easy to get a nice knot in this width and texture.

On a personal note, I lost my beautiful 10 year old Bernese Mountain Dog yesterday.  She was ravaged by an aggressive cancerous tumor that came on so quickly, I can hardly believe that just 3 months ago she acted perfectly normal.  She was so good with the children and so very sweet and gentle.  A wonderful dog and companion.  Goodbye my loyal friend.

My Bernese used to lay nearby as I sat at my desk making cards.  She liked to lay right where I would need to walk.  I was constantly stepping over her (a big step it was!) to get to my paper cutter.  I think she did it on purpose so that I wouldn't forget she was near.

Creating is good for the soul.  Create something of beauty.  Create Something Fun.

Tea Shoppe - Mojo231

I went a little vintage with this week's Mojo Monday Sketch.  The "tag" was the perfect place to show off this sweet quote from the Tea Shoppe set.

Vintage cards can take a little more time to create all the details, but that creative process is very therapeutic and fun!  The flower was made with the Floral Fusion Sizzlits Die.  I cut two of the largest flowers in Blushing Bride and two of the smallest flowers in Whisper White.  I stamped the two white flowers with the pansy stamp from the Tea Shoppe set in Blushing Bride ink (the same stamp and ink was used on the bottom of the tag), which added just enough color to the flower.  The center is from the Boho Blossoms Punch, finished off with an Antique Brass Brad from the Metallic Brads collection.

A Cup Of Thanks

 If you have been to my blog before, you might notice a new look.  I've been playing around with the design tab, so stay tuned...

It is so much fun to have new stampin' stuff to play with!  The new Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog is almost here!  The sales period begins on January 4th, but I am here to give you a little sneak peak of the adorable new Tea Shoppe stamp set, and some fresh new designer paper too, but I am most excited about the new Framelits Dies in graduated sizes.

I made this card fresh and clean, but then wondered what it would look like with a more vintage feel, so here is my second one:

Both are just too cute!  Whether your style tends to be more clean, or if you can't resist the vintage look, this stamp set is sure to be a favorite.  I can see birthday, Mother's Day, Easter, friend, get well... it seems like a pretty versatile set.  Aren't those the best kind to add to your stash?
