Valentine Sweets

Who can resist some tasty chocolate wrapped up with so much love?  The Matchbox Die has unfortunately been retired (sad!), but it still one of my favorite boxes to use for little treats.

This project is a mixture of old and new products from Stampin' Up!  Current products are:  Adorning Accents Folders (the little embossed hearts - 125601), Small Heart Punch (117193), Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits (117332), 4"x 6" cellophane bags, 1" Circle Punch (119868), 1-1/4" Scallop Circle Punch (127811), Baker's Twine (124262), Dimensionals (104430)

I used Real Red and Whisper White card stock, and Real Red ink.

Wicked Cool Matchbox - PPA110

I have been glued to the TV watching the U.S. Open (tennis, of course!) whenever I can these past couple weeks, so my stamping room has been rather lonely without me, but I did manage to squeeze in a Halloween project.  (Pals Paper Arts is having a Halloween challenge this week.)

Halloween means treats!  So, here are my matchboxes waiting to be filled with something good to eat.

If you look closely, you will hopefully be able to see the sparkle on her bewitching socks.  One of Stampin' Up!'s new products in the Holiday Mini Catalog is Dazzling Details (124117; $2.50).  Making a matchbox is a snap when you run the Matchbox Die thru the Big Shot.
